Today is the day for the largest single day street faire in the nation, the Carlsbad Village Street Faire in downtown Carlsbad, CA. If attendance is consistent with previous years, and it should be since it is a gorgeous Southern California day, there will be over 100,000 people there.
Carlsbad Village Street Faire, Carlsbad CA
The Carlsbad Village Street Faire is located on Grand Avenue, from Carlsbad Blvd (Highway 101) to Jefferson Street. Food courts, play areas, and over 900 vendors. Ted Owen, president and chief executive officer of the Carlsbad Chamber said, “You name it and it’s for sale at the faire.”
The event opens at 8 a.m. and closes at 5 p.m. and will be busy very early as usual. Carpools are suggested as parking for the Carlsbad Village Street Faire can be tricky, especially during the mid to later hours of the event.
My daughter and I go to the Carlsbad Village Street Faire every year and we are looking forward to it again today. Hope to see you there!
